Anxiety

More common in females than males, anxiety is commonly associated with other conditions but it may exist alone or as a primary symptom in anxiety neurosis. Sufferers may experience chronic, unrealistic anxiety marked by episodes of acute panic attacks. Anxiety neurosis may occur in an acute form where attacks are sudden and may persist for minutes to 1-2 hours or it may be in a chronic form where the duration may persist into days or months.

Do I have Anxiety?

Everyone is under some form of stress but how do you know when it’s transformed into anxiety? Here are some common symptoms of anxiety:

1. Affected asleep. 

2. Shortness of Breath

3. Increased palpitations/sweating

4. Dry mouth

5. Poor concentration

6. Panic attacks

7. Nausea/dizziness

8. State of unease or confusion

It has been established since 1992 with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues and mobilizing efforts in support of better mental health.
